Cool off on the river this weekend exploring the shady banks of the Potomac. Head down to Jacks Boat House and rent a canoe, kayak, or paddle board. Paddle over to Roosevelt Island or upstream to Three Sisters Islands. The river has a lot to offer. The boathouse is tucked under the Whitehurst Freeway upriver from Key Bridge and can be accessed from Water Street. Parking can be difficult so avoid times where you will have to compete for spots with shoppers in Georgetown.
